چکیده
Ultralong organic phosphorescence (UOP) materials have received considerable attention in the field of optoelectronics due to their long lifetime, high exciton utilization, large Stokes shift, and so on. Great advancements been achieved through manipulating intermolecular interactions for high-performance UOP recent years. This review will discuss influence various interactions, including ?-? n-? halogen bonding, hydrogen coordinative ionic bonding on phosphorescent properties at room temperature, respectively. We summarize rule with superior properties. provide a guideline developing new potential applications electronics bioelectronics.

Stabilizing triplet excited states for ultralong organic phosphorescence.
The control of the emission properties of synthetic organic molecules through molecular design has led to the development of high-performance optoelectronic devices with tunable emission colours, high quantum efficiencies and efficient energy/charge transfer processes. However, the task of generating excited states with long lifetimes has been met with limited success, owing to the ultrafast de...
متن کاملIntermolecular Electronic Coupling of Organic Units for Efficient Persistent Room‐Temperature Phosphorescence
Although persistent room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) emission has been observed for a few pure crystalline organic molecules, there is no consistent mechanism and no universal design strategy for organic persistent RTP (pRTP) materials. A new mechanism for pRTP is presented, based on combining the advantages of different excited-state configurations in coupled intermolecular units, which ...
متن کاملOrganic Photochemistry: The Control of Organic Photochemistry and Photophysics through Intermolecular Interactions
Supramolecular chemistry has evolved from molecular chemistry over the last half century as the science of “chemistry beyond the molecule.” Supramolecular organic chemistry can be described in a number of ways, such as: (1) chemistry of molecular complexes; (2) chemistry of noncovalent bonds; (3) chemistry of the intermolecular bond; and (4) chemistry of molecular recognition. These are appeali...
متن کاملPerturbation analyses of intermolecular interactions.
Conformational fluctuations of a protein molecule are important to its function, and it is known that environmental molecules, such as water molecules, ions, and ligand molecules, significantly affect the function by changing the conformational fluctuations. However, it is difficult to systematically understand the role of environmental molecules because intermolecular interactions related to t...
متن کاملIntermolecular interactions between a Ru complex and organic dyes in cosensitized solar cells: a computational study.
Intermolecular interactions in cyclometalated Ru complex dye (FT89) dimers, carbazole organic dye (MK-45 and MK-111) dimers, FT89-MK-45 complexes, and FT89-MK-111 complexes were investigated using density functional theory (DFT) and time-dependent DFT (TD-DFT) to elucidate the improvement mechanism of dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) performance due to cosensitization with FT89 and MK dyes. All...
